Video Series for DIY Audience
Some time ago I found a video series on YouTube of a very personable do-it-yourselfer that decided to remodel his kitchen and take anyone that would like to go, along for the ride. I was looking for good content at the time for a blog called DIYKitchenGuide.com and I thought that this series was a great case study of how a remodel goes. However, if you are like many people watching the videos can become time consuming quickly. So I decided to do something about that.
As I watched the videos, I made some notes about some of the things the video shows and made it a point to mark down where specific phases of the project began and ended. With that information, I was able to write some posts about where these key aspects of the project occurred and highlighted some points I appreciated about the videos. However, I recently realized that this granite countertop install video series also has value for anyone wanting to see what it actually takes to install a granite countertop.
Video Reference of An Install
If you have ever wondered just how big the task is going to be you can see from this video. Or, if you are wondering if it is really worth the money that it costs to hire someone to install granite in your kitchen, watching an install can really be enlightening. Professional granite fabricators have access to tools that make their installs more accurate, quicker and cleaner. However, if you are someone that has to do the work yourself and you do not do this kind of work regularly, it is helpful to know what you are getting into. This series accomplishes that.
